The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union. It addresses the export of personal data outside the EU.
General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR, will overhaul how businesses process and handle data. Our need-to-know GDPR guide explains what the changes mean for you
On 25th May 2018, data protection rules across Europe will undergo their biggest change in the last two decades. The change brings outdated personal data rules up to speed with an increasingly digital era. The amount of data produced now wasn’t foreseeable when current data protection laws were drawn up in the late 1990s. So, from May 25, 2018, GDPR will be enforced by data protection regulators across Europe. It will change how businesses like John Bray and Sons can handle the information of their customers.
